Ignacio Briones - Ministro de Hacienda

We transformed the way Ignacio Briones, Secretary to the Department of Treasury (Chile, Ministro de Hacienda), engaged with the community by developing a strategy in which he explained simply —by using social media (Twitter)— the key facts about taxes, how the nation’s budget worked, among others… something that had never been done by any other Treasury Secretary before.

We developed Chile Constituyente: a website that focused on providing neutral and important facts for every citizen to gather information about this relevant social and political event.

The website allowed users to check the similarities and differences that the proposed new Constitution had in comparison to the ones from several countries.

APEC Chile 2019

We built the social media strategy for APEC 2019 through a robust social ads planning, which allowed us to position the forum and the benefits of free trade among entrepreneurs and local communities. 

By developing messages about innovation, sustainability,  entrepreneurship and free trade, we were able to create awareness about APEC 2019 and the importance of building strong trading ties with like-minded countries.

We helped CEP, one of Chile’s most influential think tanks, completely modified its social media communication strategy, taking a huge leap to reposition the brand among younger audiences.

CEP’s digital content reached more than 10 million users during its first year of implementation.

DaleProfe

DaleProfe is the first and only crowdfunding platform for innovation projects in education in Chile. Our social media communication strategy allowed the organization to increase awareness of the platform amongst teachers.

Our work had a significant impact in donations: in April 2019, DaleProfe had 43 successful projects, 39 teachers with funded projects, 6,278 students benefited, and $11,124,206 in donations. To date, those numbers have risen to 552 financed projects, 422 professors with completed projects, 51,012 students benefited, and $228,139,456 in donations.

Camila Merino for Mayor

Reactor developed the social media strategy that would position an unknown candidate to become the candidate for her party.

The result? Camila Merino was not only chosen to be her coalition’s candidate, but also was elected with 56.91% of the votes becoming the first democratically elected woman as mayor for Vitacura district (Santiago).

Líderes Descomunales

This case poses the challenge of how, in a context of strong political disaffection among citizens, a new party was capable of summoning people to get involved to the point of becoming candidates.

The campaign appealed to a very specific audience: people with social commitment and activists whom -until then- had no involvement in formal political parties. The campaign focused on going one step further to change politics from within.

More than 2,000 people joined the party and became potential candidates to run for 2019 municipal elections all over Chile.

Voces del Sur

Voices of the South is a campaign developed for the Chilean salmon farming industry which helped to show the tight bond that has emerged between the industry and the community for more than 30 years.

Voces del Sur protagonists are not the companies that form the industry -but the people- and it portraits the progress that several communities have harnessed by working closely to the salmon farming industry. 

The campaign reached more than 1,000,000 people during its 8 week exhibition.
